Who is Loa?

Loa was my Dad’s dog. She became my dog after he was diagnosed with Hairy Cell Leukemia. Her name is an acronym of his children (my siblings and myself). She is 1. the inspiration for this brand, as her high-maintenance needs pushed me to look for clinically-proven, whole ingredients; and 2. an excellent icon for community, family, and the search for natural health in a synthetic world.

How “safe” is the pet-safe formulation?

The pet-safe version has removed all ingredients that may cause damage or discomfort for both canines and felines. However, caution that your pets do not intentionally ingest the product. It is for external use only.

Is the Vegan version really Vegan?

Yes! All Non-Vegan ingredients have been removed from the recipe and replaced with all-natural, plant-based ingredients such as Candelilla wax. Even though the formulation is different, every ingredient works hard to repair, replenish, and protect your skin.
