Loa’s Herbal Apothecary was founded by Alexander Bachman (Xander) in Las Vegas, NV. It is named after an incredibly intelligent (and high-maintenance) Maltipoo, Loa. She was originally Xander’s Father’s puppy, but was welcomed into Xander's home after his father was diagnosed with Hairy Cell Leukemia. Loa’s name is an acronym for Xander and his siblings.

She is an excellent reminder that we must protect and nourish our bodies in everything we consume, whether a skin product, a gastronomical delight, or the clothes we purchase.

Our company was started with two goals in mind: to create the best formula using only clinically-proven, whole ingredients; and to encourage our loved ones to embrace mindful living by choosing products that are safe, sustainable, and effective.

Born from the challenges of the Mojave Desert, our formula is handcrafted in Las Vegas, Nevada, to combat even the most arid climates on Earth.
